We have been advised that it is no longer a legal requirement to print the ‘Green Dot’ symbol on pack for household products to be sold in France, according to Decree 2016-1890 published in the Journal Official.

The ‘Green Dot’ is a trademark used as a symbol from the Packaging Recovery Organisation Europe (PRO EUROPE) the umbrella organisation of 31 national producer responsibility systems. The Green Dot printed on pack implies that that for such packaging, a financial contribution has been made to a qualified national recovery organisation.
