RAPEX is the European Commission Rapid Alert System that is used to exchange information on dangerous non-food products.

All cosmetic products should be compliant with Regulation EC 1223/2009 prior to release onto the market; however RAPEX provides a means of informing authorities and protecting consumers should unsafe products reach the market.
